A chiropractor is a primary care doctor specializing in spinal health and well-being. Chiropractors help patients reduce pain, increase movement, improve performance, and enhance their quality of life without using drugs or surgery. They focus on prevention, diagnosis, and conservative care. In addition to adjustments, chiropractors provide soft-tissue therapies, lifestyle recommendations, fitness coaching, and nutritional advice.

According to a recent Gallup study, an estimated 50 million Americans see a chiropractor each year. Chiropractors focus on helping patients of all ages and abilities live their greatest health potential.

Dr. Ron Oler was first introduced to chiropractic at age 16 after an athletic injury left him with excruciating and debilitating neck pain and headaches. After many trips to several medical doctors yielded no results - just more painkillers, his condition worsened until he was finally referred to the local chiropractor in Longview, Washington. After weeks of unrelenting pain, the first adjustment was like a miracle. Within hours, his pain was completely gone.

His firsthand experience as a chiropractic patient inspired him to become a chiropractor. He completed his undergraduate studies at Lower Columbia College and then moved to Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College and passed National Boards in 1968.

Upon graduation, he was drafted into Uncle Sam’s Army, then moved to California, where he took his state boards and began his first practice. He has three grown children and four grandchildren. Dr. Oler and his wife Pam moved their practices to Groveland in 2000.
